Wine Factory Food Market

At AMMA design, we were tasked with creating a space that brings people together - somewhere vibrant, functional, and perfectly suited to the historic Wine Factory location in Tbilisi. The goal, and the main challenge was to create a space where everyone could feel welcome and enjoy food from many different cuisines, prepared by different chefs. We designed the layout to support variety, flow, and comfort, making sure that every visitor could find something to enjoy. For Wine Factory Food Market, we developed the full design concept, masterplanned the outdoor layout, and shaped each detail to match the energy of this urban gathering spot. Our goal was to create a comfortable flow between food stalls, seating zones, and green areas - encouraging people to stay, connect, and enjoy. The design balances natural materials with modular structures, playful seating arrangements, and open-air comfort. A key reason behind the success of this project was the close collaboration between AMMA design and project initiators George Mamardashvili and Davit Khachidze. From the very beginning, they were actively involved in shaping the concept, and their clear vision, combined with our design expertise, led to a smooth and inspiring creative process - and ultimately, a space that truly works.
