At AMMA design, we’re always drawn to projects that challenge the ordinary, and DUO was exactly that. From the start, the brief from the founder was clear: this shouldn’t be just another burger spot, but a place with character, energy, and a distinct identity. Something that feels more like a street culture venue than a basic burger bar. Located in Tbilisi, DUO is inspired by the rawness and rhythm of European street style. It's not only a place to eat - it’s a place to gather, to listen, and to experience. One of the most exciting aspects of the project was developing a custom-built acoustic system, tailor-made for the space. We worked closely with sound engineers and the DUO team to integrate acoustic elements seamlessly into the architecture, creating a dining experience that’s also deeply sonic. Another key to the project’s success was the hands-on involvement of the founder, who is also the chef behind DUO. His passion and clarity of vision shaped every stage of the process, and the result is a space that reflects both his culinary creativity and his personal style. With DUO, AMMA design helped bring to life a new kind of venue for Tbilisi, where food, sound, and space come together in one unified vibe.
